- Show students how to carefully measure the amount of paint needed. Too much paint can result in a lot of excess waste and mess.
- Encourage students not to move the paint around too much after it has run off the edges. The less it’s worked, the more defined the colors will be.
- Set up a plan for students to take turns washing hands. This will help to keep paint from dripping on the floor while students wait in line to clean up.
- Have fun! No two paint pour projects are the same, so remind students that every end result is unique and beautiful in its own way.
