Eleventh grader Andi Mo’s beautiful colored pencil piece, titled Ladybug on Flower, was discovered at a student art exhibit at the Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek, California this spring. The Dougherty Valley High School student is captivated by flowers and, through her artwork, attempts to “…capture a glimpse of their transcending vibrancy.” When Andi is not creating spectacular works of art, she also enjoys photography, and hopes to someday become an architect.
